Bio

Maria Voss is a classically trained jazz dancer, actress, model, choreographer, personality, and speaker from Norway. She started young doing both acting, ballet, singing, and acrobatics. She grew up in a multicultural family where dance and music played a huge role. Her parents' biggest passion was ballroom dancing and they often spent the evenings at home dancing.
With roots from both India and Norway, her upbringing was different from the traditional Norwegian way but full of love, joy, and creativity. Being brown in the whitest parts of Norway in the 80s was tough, but she was taught that being different is empowering and an advantage. Born 10 years after her siblings, growing up nearly as an only child, she often spent her days playing with imaginary friends.
She found herself on the theatre stage. She started her carrier in musical theatre with lead roles such as Artful Dodger (Oliver Twist), Tigger (Winnie the Pooh), and the Princess in a Norwegian play based on a Norwegian fairytale. She´s been the face and host for different TV shows and done modeling and several commercials for sports brands and clothing lines.
Maria has appeared in big shows on both TV, films, and the theatre during her active years. She has appeared and choreographed for millions of viewers. Showcase on ESPN US sports channel, Hip Hop International, and The Bollywood/Disney blockbuster ABCD2 to mention some of them.
She used to compete in crew Hip Hop and Pom at the highest levels, and she has won several medals (gold, silver, bronze) in Both National, European, and World Championships. She has traveled the world with her dance crew Intros Allstars and Team Norway.
Her biggest achievement (apart from being a mom) is that she got to live her childhood dream: Live in Bombay and work in the Bollywood industry as a choreographer and performer for a year.
She is always dedicated to her work and puts on a smile even when the going gets tough. She´s inspirational, she loves a challenge, and is more than willing to try new innovative things.
